As you now know, our initial release of X2O only supports the Flex framework. The downloadable SWC will not work in Flash because some of the imported classes within the generated code are Flex-specific. For instance, we use the mx.rpc.FaultEvent class which is unsupported by Flash CS4, as well as the mx.collections.ArrayCollection class for our generated collection VOs.

However, we've been busily working on a SWC that is compatible with Flash CS4. The early results are looking good, and we hope to have this upgraded to all existing X2O users and new registrants in the coming few weeks. Stay tuned!
